Rosie saw the vet on Friday June 17.
She is still not halter broke so we asked our vet to sedate her and give her a hoof trim.
Otherwise Rosie is doing well. It's not that she's scared. She comes and wants to be loved on but everything is on her terms. What can I say "It's a donkey". LOL.
Her trim was $206. Any small donation towards her cost is greatly appreciated! Thank you and God bless!
Rosie had her first vet appointment yesterday.
She got vaccinated, her hooves trimmed, her dentals floated, coggings pulled and chipped. Dr. Johnson aged her at 3.5 years old. Rosie is still shy but coming around. She loves to be rubbed all over but so far we can't hold on to her halter. This is going to take some time. She finished her quarantine and we would like to take her out in the pasture but given the fact that we can't safely hold on to her we have to keep her in the arena for now and keep practising. Otherwise the little munchkin is doing just fine.
Her vet bill yesterday was: $603
The vet bill for all the rescues seen yesterday was $2430
Any small donation towards this cost would be greatly appreciated!
