Horse therapy program for veterans
On November 11, 2024 we started our new program for veterans to come volunteer and experience the benefits of learning and caring for horses. Horses are great therapists because they are very attuned to human emotions. There is something magical about these magnificent creatures that have an amazing ability to comfort and building a deep bond with a horse is something very unique and incredibly special!
We believe that the combination of physical work, fresh air and horse time are recipes to help with mental health problems. We want people to come and have the chance to decompress from everyday stress and have a place to reset themselves. We want people to come together and share their worries, help each other and hopefully create new and meaningful friendships.
This program is also available for other members in our community that struggle with mental health problems or substance abuse.

rehabilitation of horses to trail horses
Since August 2023 we offer to take in your horse for the purpose of rehabilitation to become a trail horse. Got one sitting in the pasture for quite some time and need the "dust knocked off" and you're just not quite sure if you want to do it yourself? Or maybe you bought one with no back ground? No problem, we'll help you! Our goal with this program is to help horses keep their homes!
The price for 30 day training is very reasonable and the best part about it is that the money goes straight into the rescue! Unlike a lot of other training places you are welcome to visit your horse every day!
