Zoe saw Dr. Johnson on December 9, 2021. Lately she had problems with sore heels on her bad foot. Our farrier build her a customized shoe but unfortunate it didn't work out for Zoe. The way her foot healed it made her very uncomfortable because she couldn´r role that foot anymore and it started crushing her heels. So Dr. Johnson put her back on an easy shoe which seems to be working best for her.
Zoe also had her anniversary on November 10,2021. It's been 4 years since we saved her life!
Her vet bill was $221. Please consider a small donation towards her cost.
Thank you and God bless!
Zoe's foot is just an ongoing challenge. After Dr. Johnson put her on an easy shoe back in July she was able to go barefoot again afterwards. However, her heels got so sore again we had to put her back on a shoe just to get those heels of the ground so they can recover. Basically, it was the same procedure, except this time we used the easy performance shoe in hopes to give her frog some support as well. Most days, this is working out well for her unless too much gravel gets stuck.
Her vet bill was $152 and any contribution towards it would be so much appreciated!
Princess Zoe had to see the vet.
Suddenly she started to have a real hard time to walk on her foot again.
X-rays showed that her joints are pretty much fused together so injecting them wasn't a real option to make her feel better.
The altered conformation of her foot put a lot of pressure on the DDFT and navicular bone so our vet put an easy shoe on her to get her of the ground and alleviate direct pressure.
So far it seems to be working really well! Zoe is walking so much better again 🙂
Her total vet bill was $407
Please consider donating towards her cost! It would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! (All donations are tax deductible)
Zoe is doing great! It´s just a joy to be around this girl! She just loves attention :-)We haven´t had any serious issues with her leg and she is still walking really well.
Zoe is definitely enjoying the warmer weather. If it would be up to her, she would stay in her stall all winter long. She is our little princess.
Zoe finished her spring vaccines and got her teeth floated.
If you would like to consider a small donation, her total cost was: $284
Thank you!
